Change Log
Everything new in kanopySIS, newest first.
October 2026
Oct 25
Everyone
Opening a kanopySIS link while signed out now brings you back to exactly that page after you sign in, such as the one video or the one area the link was for, instead of the page without its details.
Oct 25
Everyone
Training videos (the camera button in the help bubble, and the Videos tab of the kanopySIS Tutor) now open as a closed list. Select a video’s title to see what it covers, then View video to watch it in its own window.
Oct 25
Everyone
In the kanopySIS Tutor, every step of a lesson now opens closed, so you see the whole lesson at a glance. Select a step’s title to open or close it; Mark as understood stays beside the title.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Delete a course or an onboarding path from the trash button on its row. The red warning says exactly what goes: a course’s lessons, with everything in them and everyone’s progress, and which onboarding paths it comes off (they keep their other steps); a path’s steps, and how many people come off it (its courses stay, and so does what people completed in them). Nothing is left behind, and uploaded files are deleted too.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Lessons open in order: a lesson is locked (a padlock in the course’s list) until every lesson before it is complete, which means its quiz passed, if it has one, and Mark complete pressed. Lessons you have finished stay open to look back at. Preview is never locked.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Edit Lesson: a block’s pencil (and adding a block) opens its editor in its own panel over the lesson, instead of inside the list. Save or Cancel closes it; a quiz’s questions save one by one with the panel open; closing it with changes not saved asks first.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Edit Lesson: each kind of block is its own card under the lesson’s details, with a +. Click a card to add it at the end, or drag it into Lesson content and drop it where you want it (a slot shows where it will go); its editor opens. The block count above the content is gone.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Edit Lesson: Preview (it was “Preview as a learner”) shows the lesson in the preview window, the way a learner sees it, pages and all; nothing you do there is recorded. Open in a new tab shows the same.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Edit Lesson: Preview as a learner is at the top right of Lesson content, next to the block count.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
A Quiz is now a block you add to a lesson, like Text or Video, not a lesson of its own: give it a heading and a Pass mark, and add its questions right in its card. Learners take it where it sits in the lesson, and must pass it before they can finish the lesson. Every quiz lesson became a lesson with its introduction as text and its quiz (questions, attempts and passes kept) as a block. Edit Lesson is two columns: the lesson’s title and minutes with Add to the lesson under them, and the lesson’s content. Lessons no longer have a Kind.
Oct 25
Everyone
In every edit window, Save is at the right of the bottom bar. Closing the window with changes that are not saved asks first: Save, Close without saving or Cancel.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Edit Lesson is three columns: the lesson’s details (a fifth of the window), Add to the lesson (30%) and Lesson content (half).
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Edit Lesson has a page builder: the lesson’s details on the left, its content on the right, built from blocks you add, edit, drag into order and delete: Text (with a formatting bar), Image (with a description and caption, full, half or small), Video (YouTube, Vimeo or an MP4 upload), Resource (a file or a web link), Callout (a tip, an important note or a safety warning), Acknowledgement (a statement they tick) and Page break. Learners go through the lesson a page at a time with Back and Continue. An uploaded video can be required, watched to the end with no skipping ahead, and every acknowledgement must be ticked before the lesson can be finished. Preview as a learner is in the builder. A lesson is now Content or a Quiz; every reading, video and file lesson became a content lesson, with its text, video and file as blocks.
Oct 25
Everyone
Every grid’s row buttons stay in line: each button keeps its own column down the list, so when a row has no button of that kind (no Move down on the last lesson, say) its place is left empty instead of the others shifting over. Suspend and Reactivate, and Archive and Restore, share one place.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
New Lesson and Edit Lesson (in a course) now open across the whole window, with the lesson’s form in the left column. The right side is kept for what comes next.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
A course’s Lessons and an onboarding path’s Steps: the first one has no Move up button and the last one no Move down, since there is nowhere for them to go.
Oct 25
Everyone
Every page starts higher: the empty band between the top bar and the page title is gone. The help tab (?, Tutor, videos) now hangs beside the page title instead of above it, and a page’s buttons sit just left of it (on a phone, on their own row under the title).
Oct 25
Everyone
The Dashboard starts straight with the news (the “Welcome, you are signed in as” line is gone), and the news slider keeps one height as it moves between stories, so the tiles under it no longer jump.
Oct 25
Everyone
The Dashboard: the latest news is a slider of up to five stories from the last 30 days (arrows and dots under it; it moves on by itself and stops while you point at it). Every tile opens its screen in a full-width panel over the dashboard, the same screen with its grid and forms: Active clubs opens Clubs, Coaches People, Open jobs the Jobs Board, New applicants Applications, In onboarding and Behind schedule Progress. Needs attention is a tile of its own now, first, with how many are urgent; it opens the whole list. Inside a panel, opening an applicant or an assignment shows a Back arrow to return to the list.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Onboarding & Training has three tabs, Courses, Onboarding paths and Progress: My Training is in the sidebar under You, not a tab here.
Oct 25
System Owner
Manage clubs and View as club for the system owner. The Owner Dashboard’s Clubs tile now has two buttons on every club: Manage this club opens it in its corporation’s Clubs screen with its form open, and View as this club shows you kanopySIS the way that club sees it, to help them. Corporations has Manage its clubs too, and inside a corporation Clubs has View as this club (or use View as club on the red bar). While viewing a club, the red bar names it and lets you switch the club role you see it as (Club Director, Club Coach and so on); Back to corporation ends it. You stay yourself: nothing is done in anyone’s name, changes are saved as you, and every switch is in the audit log. It works in every corporation.
Oct 25
Everyone
Resize or fold the sidebar: on a computer, the edge between the sidebar and the page is a divider. Drag it to make the sidebar wider or narrower, or click the round arrow on it to fold the sidebar down to just its icons (point at an icon to see its name) and click again to open it. Your width and choice are saved with My Preferences.
Oct 25
System Owner
Super Admins can delete a corporation and everything in it (the trash button on Corporations, always the last in the row). A red panel first shows exactly what goes: every table of its database with how many records, its uploaded files and their size, its people by role, its clubs and regions, and its logins, sessions, public job listings, help desk questions, message log and audit log. Then a 6-digit code is texted to your own mobile, and you type the corporation’s name to delete it. Nothing of it is left behind except one audit entry recording the deletion.
Oct 25
Everyone
Sidebar: Social Next and Staff Profiles now sit together under Modules > Social Apps, folded until you open it (or are on one of their pages). Unread Social Next notifications still show on Social Apps while it is folded.
Oct 25
System Owner
View as: inside the demo company, the system owner can see the app as any of its people (the red bar, or the company card in Social Next): pick a person and Go. The bar says who you are viewing as; Back to owner returns to your own view. Only in the demo company, never a customer’s, and every switch is in the audit log.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Opening an applicant in Applications (or on a job’s page) now fills the whole window in two halves: their details, Stage, Team notes and Hire on the left, and their application form, every answer they gave, on the right.
Oct 25
Everyone
The sidebar is yours to arrange: every section (Workspace, Modules, You, Administration) now folds away when you click its heading, and you can drag the sections, or the pages inside a section, into the order you like (on a phone, press and hold first; with the keyboard, Alt and the up or down arrow). Your layout is saved with My Preferences, so it follows you to any device; Restore the defaults there puts it back.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Application Forms: the Club Role, Regional Role and Corporate Role filters list their roles alphabetically.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Application Forms: the starting forms for the eight new roles (Facilities, Finance, Club Trainer (Fitness) and Club Coach) are now under Club roles, Regional roles and Corporate roles and in each tab’s role filter. Before, they showed only under All, marked “Any role”.
Oct 25
Social Next
Social Next: Regional News and Club News show only your region and club (people with none of their own, such as corporate staff, pick one to read). For you is now Your News: the posts you made to your own profile. A post has Post to (your profile, or the news where you may publish) and Allow comments; the author can turn comments off or on later from the post’s … menu. Comments are threaded: reply to any comment or reply, and the thread hangs under it. Headlines and the dashboard show your news only.
Oct 25
People
Eight new roles: Corporate Facilities, Regional Facilities, Club Facilities, Corporate Finance, Regional Finance, Club Finance, Club Trainer (Fitness) and Club Coach (who coaches with the Head Coach). Club Trainer is now Club Trainer (Onboarding). Each has its own regions or clubs in People, whose tabs are now Corporate, Regional, Club Directors, Club Staff and Coaches & Fitness. Facilities and Finance people see the clubs at their level. Application Forms has starting forms for every new role (486 in all), and they are added to your list automatically.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
New Job and Edit Job have three columns: The job with its pay and location, the Description (About the job, What you need), and Hiring and application form. Choosing the application form now has four filters above the list, Role (Corporate, Regional, Club), App type, App length and Job type. They start from the job and you can change any of them; before, the list only showed the forms for the exact role and job type.
Oct 25
Social Next
Social Next has news at three levels: Corporate News for everyone, Regional News for a region’s people and Club News for a club’s, each a tab on the home page with a Headlines column beside the feed. Leaders publish a story with a headline (and photos) for their own level and below; a Top story stays at the top of For you for 30 days. The dashboard shows your latest news.
Oct 25
Social Next
Everyone has two profiles, one click apart (Professional | Social): a professional profile with your position and clubs, Experience and Education you add, Licenses & certifications, the training you finished here, Skills, recent activity, contact details and colleagues, plus a Profile strength meter only you see; and your social profile (posts, photos, followers), now with a Followers card. Both are in the left column of Social Next. Staff Profiles opens the professional profile.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
The second bar on Application Forms starts with a role filter: Club Role on the Club roles tab (Club Director, Club Trainer, Club Jobs, Club Head Coach), Regional Role and Corporate Role on theirs. Changing tab clears it. Each dropdown now lists only the choices that have forms in what you are looking at.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
New Job and Edit Job open the full width of the window in two halves: The job (title, where, status, type, category, summary, description, what you need) on the left, and Pay and location (pay, city and state, closing date, role when hired, application form) on the right.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Application Forms has a second bar under the role tabs: Application Types, Application Lengths and Application Job Types. Each opens a short list (with how many forms each choice has) and narrows the grid, so for example Club roles + New hire + Quick + Part-time shows just the 4 forms you need. Clear shows them all again.
Oct 25
Everyone
The buttons beside a page’s title stay together at the right (on Application Forms, a job’s applicants page and a course, the first button used to sit in the middle).
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Wording fixes: the Jobs Board no longer mentions a kanopySIS-wide job board; a job’s applicant list calls its second column Applicant type; the sign-in link notice says when the link was also emailed; the announcement on the dashboard links to Social Next; and a Club Director’s Job Board tab highlights Jobs Board in the sidebar.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Application Forms: the About and New form buttons sit at the top right, beside the title. The starting forms can no longer be deleted (they have no Delete button); Archive the ones you do not use instead. Forms you build yourself can still be deleted while no job uses them.
Oct 25
Staff Profiles
Staff Profiles > Directory and Social Next > People are built for big companies: they open with only your own card and how many people work here, and list people once you search or filter, four rows of cards at a time (however many fit across your screen) with numbered pages. Search by name, job title or specialty, and filter by region (the club list narrows to it), club, role, certification and New to the team; sort by last name, first name or newest. People also has People I follow and My followers. The address bar keeps your filters, so Back and shared links work.
Oct 25
Everyone
Every pop-up window’s title bar now uses your header colours (from My Preferences or your company’s System Colors), like the side panels. The red This cannot be undone confirmation stays red. The About box on Application Forms is simpler: it explains the 10 roles, the 3 applicant types, the 3 lengths and the 3 job types.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Application Forms has an About button. It explains how the 270 starting forms are built (10 roles × 3 applicant types × 3 lengths × 3 job types), why posting a job only ever offers 9 of them, the order every form asks its questions, and exactly which questions each length, applicant type, job type and role adds, with tips for finding, copying and archiving forms.
Oct 25
Social Next
Social Next, your company’s own social network, is in everyone’s sidebar. Everyone has a page with a cover photo, their picture, headline, roles and clubs, and tabs for Posts, About, Photos, Followers and Following. Post on your own page or write on a colleague’s, with text and up to 10 photos (drag them in or paste them; big photos are shrunk for you, and each can have a description). React with Like, Celebrate, Support, Love, Insightful or Funny, comment and reply, like comments, colleagues, share a post to your page, save posts for later and pin one to the top of your page. Follow people to see their posts under Following; the home feed also has My clubs and Announcements, plus Celebrations (work anniversaries), New to the team and People you may know. Notifications (with a count on the sidebar) tell you when someone writes on your page, comments, replies, reacts, mentions or follows you. Choose who may write on your page under Edit my profile; you can delete anything written there, and your corporate office administrators can delete any post or comment. The Staff Profiles feed moved here, with its posts, comments and kudos (now Likes); Staff Profiles keeps the directory and profiles.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Application forms: every job’s Apply now now opens an application form that corporate chooses. Under Jobs Board > Application Forms, Corporate Administrators and Corporate Jobs build forms from scratch (short answers, paragraphs, dropdowns, one choice, tick boxes, yes/no, dates, numbers, file uploads and section headings; drag to reorder, and a Preview of what applicants see) and start from 270 ready-made forms: for each of the ten roles, a New hire, Internal transfer and Internal promotion form, each in Quick, Standard and Detailed lengths, for Full-time, Part-time and Seasonal jobs. Whoever posts a job picks its form from the ones for that role and job type. Applicants say whether they already work for you and at which club. The new Applications page lists every application to the jobs you look after; each one shows the applicant’s answers. Hiring someone who already works for you moves them into the job (and, for a transfer, off their old club) instead of creating a second login.
Oct 25
People
Ten roles: an Administrator, a Trainer and a Jobs role at the corporate, regional and club level, plus the Club Head Coach. Administrators see everything at their level (their region or club); Trainers see Onboarding & Training; Jobs roles see the Jobs Board and its applications; a Head Coach sees their own profile and training. Corporate Staff is now Corporate Administrator, Regional Staff Regional Administrator, Club Director Club Director (Administrator) and Club Coach Club Head Coach; nobody’s access changed. Each regional and club role has its own regions or clubs in People, and a Club Director can add Club Trainers and Club Jobs people at their club. CSV imports still accept the old role names.
Oct 25
Regions
Edit Region opens the full width of the window: the region’s name and notes on the left, and its Regional Staff on the right, in a list with View (their staff profile), Edit (their People form) and Remove on each row. Add staff picks people from your corporate and club rosters: they become Regional Staff for the region and keep the roles and clubs they already have.
Oct 25
People
Edit Person opens the full width of the window in three columns: the person (name, email, phone, hire date), their roles, job and clubs, and their kanopySIS profile (photo, headline, about, specialties, certifications) with a link to the full profile.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Your careers page has a whole new design. It has a top bar with your logo, a large banner with a job search box (title or keyword, and location), a Why join us section with your careers introduction, Our locations cards for each club that is hiring, and an Open roles list with filters for location, department and job type. New postings get a New badge, and a filtered list can be shared by its link. Each job page now has a details card (location with directions, pay, job type, dates), Apply now and Copy link buttons, a step-by-step apply form, and more roles from your company. On phones, an Apply bar stays at the bottom of the screen. Your Jobs Board colours and banner still set the look, and the Public Page preview shows the new layout.
Oct 25
People
People: a person can now have several roles at once, for example Club Coach, Club Director, Regional Staff and Corporate Trainer. Tick every role in the new Roles list; each role gets its own places (Clubs they direct, Clubs they coach at, Regions they oversee), so someone can direct one club and coach at another. They can do what each of their roles can, each only at that role’s clubs. Giving someone a new role starts that role’s automatic onboarding path. Lists where you pick several things (clubs, regions, people to put on a training path) are now tick boxes with a filter, instead of Ctrl-click lists. A CSV import can give several roles, separated by “;”.
Oct 25
System Owner
When the system owner works inside a corporation, the You are working inside… bar is now red and stays pinned under the top bar while you scroll, with Back to owner console always in reach.
Oct 25
People
People has tabs above the list: Corporate, Regional Managers, Club Directors, Coaches and All, each with how many people it holds. Search and CSV follow the tab you are on. You only see the tabs for people you can see.
Oct 25
Everyone
No more job board across companies: kanopysis.com/jobs no longer lists every company’s openings together (it now goes to the home page), and the owner’s Jobs Board screen is gone. Each company’s jobs appear only on its own careers page and its clubs’ job pages.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Jobs Board: a job’s Public page button now opens the page in a preview window over the list, so you never leave kanopySIS; Open in a new tab is at its top. The same goes for the links to your public job board and to the live page on Public Page.
Oct 25
Everyone
In every list, Delete is now always the last button on a row, and deleting or removing anything asks first in a red warning box (Cancel is selected, so pressing Enter never deletes by accident) instead of the browser’s plain question.
Oct 25
Administration
The Administration section of the sidebar now folds away: it starts closed, opens with a click on its heading, and is open whenever you are on one of its pages.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
The Jobs Board look editor (the owner’s Jobs Board, a corporation’s Public Page) now has two tabs, Banner and Colors, with the live preview beside each. And a Club Director can now style their club’s own job page: Jobs Board > Public Page (also System Branding > Job Board) sets its banner picture, headline, text and colours, shown on the club’s page and its job pages. Anything the club leaves alone follows the corporation’s careers page.
Oct 25
System Owner
In the owner console, System Administration sits right under Dashboard in the sidebar.
Oct 25
Clubs
Club branding: a Club Director now has System Branding in the sidebar, with the same Colors, Logos and Background tabs, for their own club. Everyone whose access is that one club sees it; anything the club does not set follows the corporation’s. Corporate staff, and people in several clubs, see the corporation’s.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
We're Hiring is now Jobs Board, with two pages: Jobs Board (your jobs, as before) and, for corporate staff, Public Page: style your public careers page with a banner picture, headline and text, colours, your logo, careers introduction and website, with a live preview. The colours also apply to your club pages and job pages.
Oct 25
System Owner
Jobs Board in the owner sidebar (Super Admins): style the public job board at kanopysis.com/jobs. Add a banner picture with your own headline and text (with how much to darken the picture), and pick the page, panel and accent colours; a live preview follows as you go. The colours apply to every job-board page.
Oct 25
Administration
A corporation’s Settings is now System Branding in the sidebar, with the same tabs as System Administration: Colors, Logos and Background, plus Job Board.
Oct 25
Everyone
Dashboard background (System Branding > Background, and Settings > System Logos): the picture and its transparency are on the left, and the preview on the right now shows the page header too, as the dashboard really looks.
Oct 25
System Owner
System Logos is now System Branding (System Administration), with three tabs: Colors, Logos and Background. Colors is new: the platform’s own light-mode and dark-mode colours, which the owner console and every corporation start from (a corporation’s System Colors and each person’s My Preferences still come on top).
Oct 25
Everyone
My Preferences and Settings > System Colors: pick any colour you like. Each colour has a swatch that opens the colour chooser, a box to type the code (#0b7566) and Default; the fixed palettes are gone. Sidebar and header can be light too: its text turns dark to stay readable. A colour that may be hard to read shows a hint but still saves.
Oct 25
Everyone
System Logos: choosing a header graphic uploads it straight away (no separate Upload button), and each saved one is shown on its own mode’s header colour.
Oct 25
Everyone
System Logos takes a light-mode and a dark-mode version of the header graphic, side by side in one Header graphic card with a preview of each. Everyone sees the one for the theme they are in, and the moon button switches it at once; with only one version uploaded, it is used in both. For the whole platform (System Administration) and for each corporation (Settings).
Oct 25
Everyone
Picture uploads show what is saved: your profile photo, the Job Board logo and the System Logos header graphic and dashboard background now appear in their upload box with a Remove button, instead of a second upload box. Remove deletes the picture, and the upload box comes back. A picture you have just chosen also shows with Remove instead of a box for another one.
Oct 25
Everyone
Fixed: the Sign in button did nothing once “Forgot your password?” was turned on.
Oct 25
Everyone
Passwords now need at least 9 characters (was 10), everywhere you set or change one.
Oct 25
Administration
Settings has three tabs. System Colors: your company's own light and dark colours, for everyone in it (each person can still choose their own in My Preferences). System Logos: your own header graphic and Dashboard background with its transparency, in place of the kanopySIS ones. Job Board: your public job board's logo, careers introduction and website, as before.
Oct 25
Administration
Recent activity moved off the corporation Dashboard to its own page, Administration > Recent Activity in the sidebar: everything done in your corporation in the last 30 days, searchable, with CSV. The full history is still the Audit Log.
Oct 25
Everyone
Every upload is now a drop zone: drag a file onto it or click to choose one. The file you picked shows as a preview (pictures as a thumbnail, other files with their type, name and size) with an × to remove it, and a file of the wrong type or over the size limit is flagged before you upload. On System Logos, Settings (your logo), My Profile (your photo), Import, lesson files in Training and the Résumé on job applications.
Oct 25
System Owner
API Keys is a card per service (Email, Text messages, File storage, Platform) showing whether it is set up. Open one for step-by-step setup instructions beside its fields, with the test send.
Oct 25
Everyone
Fixed stray characters such as “” that appeared beside dots, dashes and accented letters (the Owner Dashboard tiles, Résumé on applicants and the job application form).
Oct 25
System Owner
The Owner Dashboard has new tiles: each shows a 12-week trend and what is new this week, and opens its full list across the window: Active corporations (the Corporations screen itself, with New Corporation, edit and Open workspace), Clubs, People and Signed in this week. The Corporations screen now also shows each corporation's last sign-in. Recent activity moved to its own page, System Administration > Recent Activity, and the Manage corporations button is gone (use Corporations in the sidebar).
Oct 25
System Owner
System Logos (System Administration, Super Admins): upload a header graphic that replaces the kanopySIS name at the top left of every page, and a background picture for the dashboards with a Transparency slider, each with a live preview.
Oct 25
Everyone
Every side panel (New and Edit forms, the videos panel, the help desk and every other panel that slides in from the right) now has a header bar in the same colour as the top bar, in light and dark mode.
Oct 25
Everyone
My Preferences (under your name at the top right): choose light, dark or your device's setting, a larger text size, and your own accent, background and sidebar colours for light mode and for dark mode, with a live preview. Your choices follow you to any device and change nothing for anyone else.
Oct 25
System Owner
System Administration is a fold-out group in the sidebar: click it to open Overview, System Administrators, API Keys, Messages and Help Desk, one click each. The tabs on the page are gone, and the Overview is down to the totals and the platform services.
Oct 25
Everyone
The kanopySIS Tutor (the book button in the help bubble) now opens as its own learning window: just the lessons and the training videos, with Lessons and Videos tabs, the help desk and a Close button. Your workspace stays where you left it in the other window.
Oct 25
Everyone
A clock in the top bar, beside the light / dark button: today's date and the time, in your own time zone, ticking every second. On a phone it shows just the time.
Oct 25
Everyone
Every table is now a full list, the small ones too: Recent activity on the dashboards, the table under a chart (Show table), the CSV import results and the training counts in About all get the rows menu, CSV download, search and pages.
Oct 25
Everyone
The product name is now written the same way everywhere: kanopySIS, on every screen, page, email and text message.
Oct 25
Everyone
Every list in kanopySIS now looks and works the same: a full grid with the header in the kanopySIS green, a rows menu (10 to All) and a CSV button that downloads the rows you are looking at (opens in Excel), search on the right, and the page count and pages underneath. A row's buttons sit together as one group. On this path (Onboarding & Training → a path) is now a full list too.
Oct 25
Everyone
About kanopySIS (under your name at the top right): the Change Log folds by month, kanopySIS Training counts the Tutor lessons, training videos and screenshots for each part of kanopySIS, and Schedule Training books a training session with us.
Oct 25
Everyone
The menu under your name now opens on top of the help bubble instead of behind it.
Oct 25
Everyone
A tidier sidebar: the Tutor and Training Videos are the book and camera in the help bubble at the top right. The Change Log now lives in About kanopySIS, under your name at the top right.
Oct 25
Everyone
Every screen now has a help bubble at the top right: ? asks the kanopySIS help desk about the part of kanopySIS you are in (we reply right there and by email), the book opens the Tutor lessons for it, and the camera shows its training videos.
Oct 25
Everyone
Sign-in links and password resets can now arrive by email, and Forgot your password? on the sign-in page emails you a link to choose a new one.
Oct 25
System Owner
System Administration (Super Admins, from your name at the top right): add and manage other system administrators, set the API keys for email (AWS SES), text messages (ClickSend) and file storage (AWS S3) with test sends, and see every email and text the platform sends. The owner console also has a Help Desk for answering questions.
Oct 25
Jobs Board
Sample companies used for demonstrations are marked as such on their job pages, kept off the kanopySIS job board and out of search engines, and do not take applications.
Oct 25
Everyone
The home page now shows real kanopySIS screens, starting with a sample company's careers page, and links shared from kanopysis.com show a preview card.
Oct 25
Everyone
Book a demo at kanopysis.com/demo: pick a time in your own time zone, confirm with a code sent to your email, and get a calendar invite. Request a demo on the home page now goes there.
Oct 25
Everyone
Terms of Service and a Privacy Statement, linked at the bottom of every public page.
Oct 25
System Owner
Two-step sign-in for the system owner: turn it on under Security and scan the QR code with an authenticator app. The owner console also has an Audit Log across every corporation.
Oct 25
Everyone
Settings (Corporate Staff): add your logo, a careers introduction and your website to your public job board.
Oct 25
Everyone
Import (Corporate Staff): bring in clubs and people from a spreadsheet. New people get a sign-in link and start their onboarding automatically. The Audit Log shows who did what, and when.
Oct 25
Everyone
The kanopySIS Tutor: step-by-step lessons on every part of kanopySIS, matched to your role, with “Mark as understood” as you go. Training Videos lists the short how-to videos; each one plays as soon as it is published.
Oct 25
Everyone
The Dashboard now shows what needs your attention: new applicants, new hires behind on onboarding, tasks waiting for your sign-off, certifications about to expire, and your own training.
Oct 25
Staff Profiles
Staff Profiles: a company feed for wins, tips and shout-outs, for everyone or one club, with kudos and comments; pinned announcements from leaders; a searchable directory; and your own profile with photo, specialties and certifications. You and your managers are warned 30 days before a certification expires.
Oct 25
Onboarding & Training
Onboarding & Training: trainers build courses from reading, video, file and quiz lessons, and string courses and hands-on tasks into onboarding paths that start automatically for new hires. Club Directors sign off hands-on tasks and follow progress. Everyone has My Training, with quizzes and printable certificates.

Jobs Board
We're Hiring: post jobs for any club or the corporate office. Open jobs appear on the club's page, your careers page and the kanopySIS job board at kanopysis.com/jobs, and show in Google's job search. Applicants apply with their résumé; you move them through stages, rate them, keep team notes, and Hire creates their account and starts their onboarding.
